Supporting Pegasus

There are many ways to give your support Pegasus Farm.

Donate online

Participate in our annual fund drive directly or through our annual mailing. We also welcome gifts of stocks and/or bonds.

Support one of our therapy horses in any amount. For a $2600.00 annual donation, you can provide feed, supplements, de-worming, inoculations, veterinary care, shoeing, tack, blankets and more for one of our therapy horses for an entire year.

Cole Surmay Scholarship Fund - Many of our program participants are members of families with low/middle incomes or who have extraordinary medical or other expenses related to the participant's disability. In order to eliminate any financial barriers that would prevent individuals with disabilities from accessing our programs. Pegasus - with the help of generous donors - has established the Cole Surmay Memorial Scholarship Fund. Distributions from this fund are used to cover participant lesson fees. Your donation of $1,000 will enable Pegasus to provide a year's worth of lessons to a participant who could not otherwise afford the cost of the therapy program.

Donate a horse. Do you know a mature, sound, kind, even-tempered horse that loves kids? We’ll do a thorough evaluation to see if he would benefit our program, then bring him in for a 90-day trial.  Horse donations are tax-deductible.

Include Pegasus in your estate planning. Ask your accountant, attorney or financial planner how to give an immediate or deferred gift, or include Pegasus as a beneficiary on your IRA, in your will or life insurance policy.

Support our events and fund-raisers. See our calendar.

Provide in-kind donations of cleaning materials, paper products, horse grooming items, lawn and barn maintenance supplies. Please see wish list for other items.

Donate to Pegasus Farm in memory of a loved one. At your request, we will also mail an acknowledgment of the donation to the loved one's family.

Pegasus Farm will mail a receipt to you acknowledging your donation.

Pegasus Farm has been designated a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. The Farm receives no government funding and is not supported by United Way other than occasional donor-designated contributions. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
